Fox Broadcasting Company is een Amerikaans televisienetwerk. Het is in het bezit van de Fox Entertainment Group, dat onderdeel is van News Corporation. Fox heeft vele succesvolle shows geproduceerd en uitgezonden sinds de lancering op 9 oktober 1986.

Fox is het enige televisienetwerk dat de drie grootste televisienetwerken van de Verenigde Staten echt moeilijk heeft gemaakt sinds de jaren '70. Fox heeft vaak deze drie in sommige periodes qua kijkcijfers overtroffen, maar moet toch vaak genoeg nemen met een vierde plaats in de televisiemarkt achter NBC, CBS en ABC. Alhoewel het in 2004 tijdens de sweeps de hoogste kijkcijfers had van alle televisienetwerken in de Verenigde Staten, waardoor Fox zeer aantrekkelijk werd voor adverteerders. Fox wordt vaak erkend als het televisienetwerk dat onder andere Jim Carrey, Ben Stiller en Ashton Kutcher groot heeft gemaakt.

Het televisienetwerk is opgericht in 1986 om programma's te leveren aan de televisiestations van Metromedia, dat een jaar eerder door News Corporation overgenomen is voor $ 4 miljard.
